I recently talked with Mafê, the owner of Petit Oli, who is the mother of two grown up girls. Mafê and her family moved to Berlin 5 years ago for a change of life and to challenge themselves to try new things.
She started up Petit Oli after taking up sewing, and finding her passion for making children's clothing while drawing inspiration not only from having raised her own daughters, but also from her beautiful Goddaughter, Olivia, who at 5 is already a fashionista.
When designing clothes for children, comfort is in the forethought of her mind. Mafê sources high quality, soft materials for her items.

If you're looking for some cosy clothes to wear around the house during your time at home, Mongolian Handicrafts have the softest and warmest sweaters, socks and leggings - made from organic yak wool.
I'm so excited to feature this next store, Mongolian Handicrafts - ran by the amazingly talented Ulziibat.
Something that I love about this collection is that there is a huge focus on the welfare and happiness of the yaks, their herders, and everyone involved in the process along the way.
Another thing that is important to mention is that yak wool is more sustainable and environmentally friendly than other types of wool. As they put it:
"Yak don’t contribute to overgrazing as they can graze on pastures which are not accessible to other animals such as goats and sheep. Their less destructive grazing habits means a reduced risk of desertification and damage to fragile ecosystems."
I'm in love with this sweater, it is so soft and cosy - and can be worn in all seasons. It's a very flattering shape and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion - it comes in 3 different colours

Me and my new little one have been testing out the black wrap and an accompanying baby wearing fleece and, woah - this is the way to get around for sure!
