In The Kitchen With: Huaora




This week I am so excited to share a brand that I have recently fallen in love with, Huaora.

Huaora's name and ethos are inspired by a concept from Maori philosophy which is based on the premise that health and well-being are sustained by four key elements: physical well-beingmental and emotional balance, spiritual well-being (or personal beliefs), and social well-being (or self-esteem).

When Huaora asked me to create some new recipes with their products, I was immediately inspired by their amazing selection and I am so excited to share them with you!






This recipe combines some seriously powerful brain-boosting ingredients, to improve concentration, mood and focus.

Blackberries: improve brain health and help prevent memory loss.
Avocados: help promote blood flow, which is beneficial for the brain.




Makes 2 smoothie bowls.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 small avocado
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1.5 cups plant based milk (almond, cashew or coconut are great in smoothies)
  • 2 tablespoons Huaora Brainpower mix
  • Toppings of your choice, I chose flax seed, coconut and frozen blackberries.
Instructions:
  1. Add banana, blackberries, avocado and ice cubes to the blender. 
  2. Add milk and Huaora Brainpower. 
  3. Blend on high.
  4. Pour into bowl, place on toppings and enjoy!






These muesli balls are packed with protein and good fats for a quick energy boost any time.
They take just minutes to prepare and can chill in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.



Makes 12 large balls or 24 small balls.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups of sugar-free muesli
  • 1/4 cup of your favourite nut butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons of Huaora Strength mix
Instructions:
  1. Add muesli and Huaora Strength to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add in nut butter, coconut oil and honey.
  3. Mix until fully combined.
  4. With hands, roll into either 12 large or 24 small balls and enjoy!
