Today's featured item from LeaF is this beautiful shoulder bag. This is a really versatile bag - the zipper is at the very top, so you have the option to fold it over purse style - or if it is full enough, you can use it with the top facing upwards, giving you more room to carry the things you need. Not only that, but the strap is detachable, so you can also use this as a clutch - how clever is that?
I had the pleasure of talking with Giedre - the woman behind the brand, who explained to me that her passion to start her store started with her search to find the perfect bag, when she had trouble finding the right one, she used a skirt that she owned to create a bag exactly as she wanted it - 5 years later LeaF was born! She uses upcycled materials to make her bags. She says that they have used many sources, from pants to couches! With many happy customers along the way.

Perfina
We are featuring this incredible dress from Perfina today - how amazing is this for summer? This beautiful white short dress is made with a light soft patttern lace. You can dress it up, with heels and some simple jewelery for a party look - or you can dress it down with leggings for a more casual look. This is an ideal staple piece of clothing, perfect for any wardrobe.
I was so happy to speak with Tanya, the creator of Perfina, who shared this with us that her inspiration behind her brand was to provide a place to buy simple and elegant women's clothing. She says:
"The perception for elegant man didn't change over many decades and the formal men's suits and even casual outfits look very similar since so long time. Why, we the ladies shouldn't have the self-confidence to wear simple and elegant outfits, instead to follow each season's kinky trends? The lady wearing the dress makes the look of the dress and not the opposite. "
Tanya says that before she even opened her store, she had women stopping her on the street to compliment her designs - which at the time she made only for herself, but when it became clear to her that this was something people were really interested in - Perfina was born.

Speaking with Diana from Linen Old Ways was so much fun, she is one of the nicest women I've had the pleasure of working with - I am so excited to share this beautiful dress from her store today.
This dress is perfect all year round, it's light enough for summer, but also perfect for a more cosy look in Autumn/Winter with some boots and a scarf! So cute.

That logo is just the cutest, isn't it?
Im really pleased to share this beautiful dress from Noisy Forest today - I love linen clothes for children, they are so simple but stylish - and really breathable for the summer heat. I love this little dress, it's so sweet! Perfect for a wedding, a picnic, or a trip out to the shops - very versatile.
I had the pleasure of chatting to Vaida, who runs Noisy Forest. As a mother of two, she has her very own muses at home. She shares:
"Probably as most moms I started creating and making clothes as I was not able to find nice and good quality clothes for a reasonable price for my own kids.
I love nature very much and especially forest; therefore the name of my shop and the motives of materials I use for clothes are related to the theme of the forest.
We go to our friends' villa near the forest on the shore of the lake for many years during weekends. That is the place were I get the best rest and inspiration when listening to the sounds of the birds."

I'm so excited to share this beautiful dress here today from Youga, it is such a unique and fun summer look - the colour is amazing, a beautiful wine red - perfect with a simple summer hat and sandals.
I was so happy to speak with Abby Cathy, who has a family history of design; her mother and father ran a cloth specialty store in Zhongshan and we're in the cloth business for 20 years.
She says:
" I was influenced by my mother since childhood, enjoying making dolls with my mother's leftover of bolt of cloth; I graduated from Fashion Institute last year, and run the shop together with three classmates, we rely on my mother's cloth shop to design and make clothes.we will share so many clothing works all around the world."
